School4U
The National Operative Theme “School4U” has as its objective that of improving the scholastic experience of all children between 5 and 11 years old, that attend a primary school or environments in which they carry out educational activities. This would be done through the donation of customizable “Leo Kit”, comprising materials related to sport, IT, the arts or a combination of these three categories.
The Multiple District Leo 108 ITALY, with this project, aims at investing on the materials and the technologies that, in schools, may be missing or need to be updated, thus enhancing education quality.
Objectives:
– Donation of the Kit
Every Club interested in donating a “Leo Kit” will need to get in touch with the primary school principal and the teachers or the individuals responsible of the education environment, in order to understand the needs of the organization and to plan together what must be requested in the “Leo Kit”, so has to enable children to enjoy an appropriate and updated didactic experience.
– Awareness
Make the community in which Leo Club operate understand the importance of investing in research centers, sport and creativity for the development of children.
The fundraising project on national scale will last three years, during which analysis will be conducted to better understand the single needs given the donation of Leo Kits and a mediatic campaign will be conducted to raise awareness over the project.
The objective of the National Operative Theme “School4U” is that of enabling each of the 335 italian Leo Clubs to donate a Kit of the value of 1000 Euros to a chosen institution. We need then to collect 330.000 Euros by 2019. We already collected over 218.649 Euros and the first 163 kits have been delivered.
